Dear ladies and gentlemen,
parents and guardians,
“School is a place of educational formation and upbringing.” – I understand this simple but encompassing saying to mean: young people should receive education, support and encouragement through their development here, not only for their current and future studies, but also in their individual growth, in order that they may have the chance to become active members of our democratic society.
School is the result and image of our society. In other words, it is a system with many active forces. Therefore, I find it imperative that school has a human countenance.
School should not merely be understood as an institution of theory and scholarship, but a place where a balanced and fair involvement and harmonic cooperation of all its members is realised.
Our school exhibits many profiles, which are to be continuously cultivated.
I hope for an ever constructive teamwork, built on trust and an open dialogue in a colourful school environment.
